Zine Arranger

Eighth Size (Mini)

Single-Sided / Portrait / Side-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom right.
2. Fold in half (hamburger style).
3. Cut along the top of the back cover, to create a slit in the middle of the paper.
4. Unfold, then fold in half (hotdog style).
5. Push the two sides in, allowing the middle pages to split out into a diamond.
6. Starting with the back cover, fold the pages together until the back is opposite the front.

Eighth Size (Minizine)

Single-Sided / Portrait / Top-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom left.
2. On the top row: Cut between the first and second page in the row, and between the third and fourth page in the row.
3. On the bottom: Cut between the second and third page in the row.
4. Starting with the top right, fold down so the pages are face-to-face, then over so the pages are back-to-back.
5. Repeat this pattern until you get to the back cover, which folds over the rest of the pages.
6. Staple the middle spine to add some support.

Eighth Size (Minizine)

Single-Sided / Landscape / Side-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom right.
2. On the left column: Cut the seam beneath the top page, and the seam above the bottom page.
3. On the right column: Cut the seam between the middle two pages.
4. Starting with the top left, fold over so the pages are face-to-face, then down so the pages are back-to-back.
5. Repeat this pattern until you get to the back cover, which folds over the rest of the pages.
6. Staple the middle spine to add some support.

Eighth Size (Minizine)

Single-Sided / Landscape / Top-Fold

1. Hold the page so the front cover is at the bottom right.
2. Fold in half (hamburger style).
3. Cut along the top of the back cover, to create a slit in the middle of the paper.
4. Unfold, then fold in half (hotdog style).
5. Push the two sides in, allowing the middle pages to split out into a diamond.
6. Starting with the back cover, fold the pages together until the back is opposite the front.

Eighth Size (16-Page Mini)

Double-Sided / Portrait / Side-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom right.
2. Fold in half left-to-right, keeping the front visible.
3. Fold in half top-to-bottom, keeping the front visible.
4. Fold in half left-to-right again, keeping the front visible.
5. Repeat for any additional sheets, nesting them in the middle fold of each previous sheet.
6. Staple the spine, then cut around the outside edges to free up the pages.

Eighth Size (16-Page Mini)

Double-Sided / Portrait / Top-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom right.
2. Fold in half left-to-right, keeping the front visible.
3. Fold in half left-to-right again, keeping the front visible.
4. Fold in half top-to-bottom, keeping the front visible.
5. Repeat for any additional sheets, nesting them in the middle fold of each previous sheet.
6. Staple the spine, then cut around the outside edges to free up the pages.

Eighth Size (16-Page Mini)

Double-Sided / Landscape / Side-Fold

1. Hold the page with the front cover at the bottom right.
2. Fold in half top-to-bottom, keeping the front visible.
3. Fold in half top-to-bottom again, keeping the front visible.
4. Fold in half left-to-right, keeping the front visible.
5. Repeat for any additional sheets, nesting them in the middle fold of each previous sheet.
6. Staple the spine, then cut around the outside edges to free up the pages.

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Lay the pile with the front cover at the top right.
3. Cut the entire pile in half horizontally.
4. Stack the top pile on top of the bottom. The front & back covers should be on top.
5. Fold the whole stack in half left-to-right and staple the spine.

Quarter Size

Double-Sided / Portrait / Top-Fold

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Lay the pile with the front cover at the bottom right.
3. Cut the entire pile in half vertically.
4. Stack the right-hand pile on top of the left one. The front & back covers should be on top.
5. Fold the whole stack in half top-to-bottom and staple the spine.

Quarter Size

Double-Sided / Landscape / Side-Fold

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Lay the pile with the front cover at the top right.
3. Cut the entire pile in half horizontally.
4. Stack the top pile on top of the bottom. The front & back covers should be on top.
5. Fold the whole stack in half left-to-right and staple the spine.

Quarter Size

Double-Sided / Landscape / Top-Fold

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Lay the pile with the front cover at the bottom right.
3. Cut the entire pile in half vertically.
4. Stack the right-hand pile on top of the left one. The front & back covers should be on top.
5. Fold the whole stack in half top-to-bottom and staple the spine.

Half Size

Portrait

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Hold the pile with the front cover on the right.
3. Fold in half left-to-right.
4. Staple the spine.

Half Size

Landscape

1. Keep sheets stacked in the order they printed.
2. Hold the pile with the front cover on the bottom.
3. Fold in half top-to-bottom.
4. Staple the spine.

1. Pre-fold along all of the edges, then cut the solid lines as shown below.
2. Unfold everything. The cut paper should form a winding loop that goes from the first to the last page.
3. Starting with the front cover, fold the second page against the first so that it faces outward.
4. Next, fold the third page in, so that it faces the second.
5. Continue working your way around and alternating folding outward then inward, until you get to the back cover.

1. Arrange the stack of pages so that the front & back covers are facing you, in the top-left corner.
2. Cut the solid lines as shown below to separate out each 2-page spread.
3. Stack from left to right, then top to bottom.
4. If your zine is more than 1 printed sheet long, repeat the process for each following sheet, then nest it into the middle of the previous pages.
